The video was released on the YouTube channel ‘Telangana deccan news’ on March 6, showing a priest assaulting a devotee at the famous Ganesha temple in Secunderabad. Further inquiries revealed that a Hyderabad priest had been arrested for assaulting a devotee who had entered a restricted area of the temple. The news published in India Today and the New Indian Express as well.
On February 27, a priest attacked a devotee for entering a restricted area of the Ganesha temple in Secunderabad. The accused priest Prabhakar Sarman has attacked a devotee named Valmiki Rao. The next day, Hyderabad police arrested the priest based on complaint lodged by a devotee against him, ”India Today reported.
