Speaking to reporters on May 22, Seeman, the chief co-ordinator of the Naam Tamilar Party, highly criticized the DMK members’ promotion of Udayanithi’s film Nenjukku Needhi.
Then, “DMK MP Senthilkumar said he has never seen Periyar. But after seeing Udayanidhi in a khaki shirt, it felt like seeing Periyar”, he said.
What is the truth?
As Seeman mentioned, it was not the DMK’s Dharmapuri MP Senthilkumar who spoke of seeing Periyar in Udayanidhi, but a fake Twitter page operating in the name of journalist Senthilvel.

On this fake Twitter page on May 20, “I have not seen Periyar living. It was a privilege to see Periyar wearing a khaki shirt on screen today in the form of the Honorable Udayanithi Stalin”, was mentioned. We have already published an article about this fake tweet.

Commenting on this, MP Senthilkumar said, “This is proof that the liar Seaman will only tell lies. Nenjukku Needhi is a film that Tamils celebrate as a film that speaks of social justice. But he says without hesitation what I did not post and did not say”, he posted on Twitter.
