There are multiple controversies regarding PM Modi’s educational certificate. Recently, the Gujarat High Court imposed a fine of Rs 25,000 on Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a case seeking Modi’s graduation certificate. Various parties are demanding that Modi should publish his original certificate.

In this case, an image claiming that Shah Rukh Khan has posted his graduation certificate following Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is viral. The posts mention that “Shah Rukh Khan shows his Degree Certificate to FEKU Sanghis and their illiterate Bhakths, to educate them and give them an idea how a Degree Certificate should look like”. What is the truth?

When reverse searching the viral image it is found that the image is old and was taken in February 2016 when Shah Rukh Khan received his graduation certificate after 28 years.

An article by The Quint reports that Shah Rukh Khan collected his BA Economics degree certificate from his college, Hansraj in Delhi University after the promotional event of his film ‘Fan’. “This is a very special moment for me. I am back in my college which I left in 1988. I am missing only one thing-my children are not with me today, as I wanted to show them every corner of my college”, said Shah Rukh Khan.

India Times is also found reporting about Shah Rukh Khan collecting his degree certificate after over 28 years and carrying the viral image in it. Shah Rukh Khan also tweeted a video about his visit to Hansraj College on 16, February 2016.

A photo taken in 2016 is being shared as if Shah Rukh Khan has posted it recently. No such photographs of his degree certificate were posted by him recently.
