Janata Dal leader and Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar broke ties with INDIA bloc on 28, January 2014 and formed the Mahagathbandhan or the grand alliance government after rejoining with BJP-led NDA. It is to be noted that he had broken ties with NDA in 2022 to form the government in Bihar along with RJD, Congress and the Left parties in the state. The Former Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, Tejashwi Yadav opposed Nitish Kumar’s move to reunite with BJP.

Meanwhile, an image of a building that shows two persons standing on the balcony of the house and a few people supposedly media reporters standing in front of the gate with cameras is widely circulated. This house in the image is claimed to be of Tejashwi Yadav’s. Some of the posts with a similar claim can be seen here and here.
What is the Truth?
When the viral image is reverse searched using Google, we found that the building is unrelated to Tejashwi Yadav. An article dated March 2023 by Indian Express is found featuring the same image. The image is captioned “Patna: RJD leader Syed Abu Dojana (in black on balcony) at his residence during a raid by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), in Patna, Friday, March 10, 2023”, crediting to PTI.
The Tribune India article in March 2023 reported that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids at several places related to Former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad in Delhi and Bihar as a part of ‘land-for-jobs scam’ investigation.
The ED team raided the houses of RJD leaders Abu Dojana in Bihar and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and his sisters’ residences in Delhi. The same image is also found uploaded in this article with the caption “Mediapersons outside the residence of former RJD MLA Abu Dojana in Patna”. This clarifies that the house does not belong to Tejashwi Yadav as claimed.
It is found that an image of RJD leader Syed Abu Dojana’s residence in Patna is falsely shared as Tejaswi Yadav’s new property in Delhi.
