What’s the truth?

We started our analysis with a relevant keyword search and the keyframes of the viral video. This led us to a YouTube video with the caption “When a Hindu Sanyasi goes to a Muslim’s Masjid for Iftar?  Hindu vs Muslim Social Experiment.”

The video was uploaded by the YouTube channel namely, ‘Prank Buzz’ on April 6, 2024. This video is a bit lengthy with a run time of 7 minutes and 6 seconds. When we looked into the video’s description box, it says “Hindu Sanyasi Masjid me iftar karne jane par Muslim logo ne itna Mara kyon?? Hindu Vs Muslim | What happens when a Hindu goes to a Muslim’s Mosque??.” Also, they have added hashtags like, social experiment and social awareness to the description.

Approximately 15 seconds into the video, we can see and hear the Muslim and Hindu people say “Aslamalaikum” and “Jai Shree Ram,” respectively. Subsequently, they declare that they will both enter the mosque to observe what transpires in this particular experiment when a Hindu enters.

Upon hearing the entire video, we deduced that, at around five minutes and 28 seconds, the two men who went inside for the experiment could be heard stating that the older men became irate because they believed the entire argument to be genuine.

One of the many people can be heard saying, at 5 minutes and 58 seconds, “it’s okay for him to be Hindu and that he can still eat with us.” Also, those in his immediate vicinity echo this.

Then, it is evident that both the Muslim and the Hindu are facing the camera to demonstrate to others that there is no truth to their argument and to assert that Muslims and Hindus are not at odds and that they are instead like brothers. Additionally, we learn from those in closer proximity that there is no conflict when it comes to eating and socializing with Muslims and Hindus. The channel features a tonne of prank videos, as its name would imply.

All this confirms and clarifies that this is a social experiment video which means it’s a well-planned scripted video.

Conclusion:

Thus, we deduce that the widely shared video, which claims that Muslims portraying a fight are demonstrating brotherly love to greedy Hindus, is actually a social experiment rather than an actual one. Hence, the widely shared video is staged.
