A video purportedly showing a TTE manhandling a passenger in a train is shared to claim that it happened in Tamil Nadu and that the passenger is a Bihari. Amid the confusion of the Tamil Nadu – Bihar migrants issue due to the spread of misinformation that Bihari workers are being attacked in Tamil Nadu, another video popped up with a claim that a Bihari passenger is mishandled in Tamil Nadu.

The posts are being shared in Hindi and read as “तमिलनाडु से भाग कर आ रहे बिहारियों को कुछ इस प्रकार से टीटीटिकट दे रहे हैं @RailMinIndia क्या टीटी के द्वारा ऐसा बर्ताव सही है और इसने अपनी वर्दी भी नहीं पहन रखी है”
What is the truth?
When reverse-searching the keyframes of the viral video, we found that the video is not related to Tamil Nadu. A YouTube channel ‘Run on Track’ is found carrying a video with matching visuals from the viral video. This video was uploaded on 3, March 2023 with the title in Hindi translated as ‘This is the condition of Sampoorna Kranti Express’.
This Youtube channel ‘Run on Track’ has several other train journey videos and is mentioned in the ‘About’ section that it has only train journey videos.
When watching the viral video we can also hear someone saying ‘Sampoorna Kranti Express’ in it. This train runs between Rajendra Nagar, Patna, and New Delhi.
Concerned TTE has been suspended with immediate effect.

The ‘Railway Seva’ Twitter page tagged Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), Danapur Railway Station (DNR) in the comment section of the viral post on 9, March 2023 mentioning that the concerned authorities are being informed. The ‘DRM/DNR’ Twitter account replied within an hour that the concerned TTE has been suspended with immediate effect. Danapur Railway Station is located in Patna, Bihar and the said train travels between Patna and New Delhi.
Conclusion
It is found from our search that an incident of TTE manhandling a passenger in Sampoorna Kranti Express which travels between Patna and New Delhi is shared to falsely claim that it happened in Tamil Nadu.
