In a nine-second clip, two nude men are seen riding out of a location while being observed by police. This post is shared with the assertion that the people riding naked are Jain or Hindu devotees.

What’s the truth?

Our examination of the viral video’s keyframes initially brought us to a couple of tweets that certain users had posted, stating that the incident had occurred in Ecuador.

According to the X post, “Police saw two guys riding a motorcycle in Guayaquil after the curfew and stopped them! They tried to explain that they were a couple and were driving home, but the police were suspicious. -> SO THE POLICE SENT THEM HOME NAKED ON THE BIKE LIKE A COUPLE. Ecuador.”When we advanced our search, we stumbled upon a blog addressing the same issue, carrying the viral screengrabs of the two naked men riding on a motorcycle. The article is titled “Ecuadorian police sent two guys naked riding on a motorcycle in Guayaquil after the curfew in Ecuador.”

The aforementioned data confirms that the widely shared video originates from Ecuador and has no association with Jains or Hindus. However, the two individuals were punished by the police for breaking the curfew regulations.


Thus, we conclude that the viral video showing two people riding a motorcycle naked is in no way related to Jains or Hindus. In reality, the video is from Ecuador.
