A viral video is shared to claim that it is from the Indian Navy training session. In the video, we can see a group of men training underwater with their legs and hands tied up. The viral video widely shared by social media users.

What is the truth?

We ran a reverse image search using the keyframes of the viral video and found the original video posted by the US-based fitness group’s official Instagram page, deepandfitness. It was posted on May 29, 2023, with the caption, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them. -JFK. Happy Memorial Day weekend! Live up to their sacrifice.”

This page also shared many similar videos of underwater fitness on their Instagram account.

US-based fitness organisation Deep End Fitness is designed for non-swimmers to get more comfortable in and around the water. This organisation also teaches instructor certificate courses and other various fitness programs.


The viral video is from a US-based fitness group, not from the Indian Navy practice session.
