What is the truth?
When reverse-searching the keyframes of the viral video we found that the video is old and is not related to Namaz as claimed.
A news article on the Excelsior website is found carrying matching visuals from the viral video. The article dated 16, May 2018 mentions that a deaf-mute Colombian climbed the high voltage tower with the intention of committing suicide because of depression. The man agreed to get down when people persuaded him to get down and when police moved in a helicopter to calm him. He took a false step and touched a high-voltage cable that exploded, reported the article.
The viral video is also found uploaded on the Metatube website reporting that a 20-year-old boy died electrocuted while trying to get off a high-voltage tower he had just climbed on earlier. The events took place this Sunday in the city of Barranquilla, in northern Colombia.
An article on a news website identified the man as Victor Jose Arroyo Gonzalez. He had reached the top of the structure in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia and threatened to throw himself off. When he just started making his way down after getting convinced to not kill himself, he accidentally touched the live wire that flashed and he fell. He had reportedly climbed tall structures previously to threaten suicide.
Conclusion
It is found that a video of a man electrocuted in Colombia is falsely shared that he climbed up a high-voltage tower to offer Namaz.
