What is the truth?

When searching with relevant keywords we found that the name of the BJP leader is Rahul Pandit and not Rohit Pandit. He was not beaten for arguing about the Manipur issue but the incident happened because of the dispute between two parties in the village. Times of India reported on 28, July 2023 that Rahul Pandit, a local BJP leader was thrashed with sticks in Greater Noida by a mob from Ladpura village in the Kasna area over a dispute between two sides on some issue.

The official Twitter handle of Noida Police responded to one of the tweets carrying a viral video mentioning that the video is in relation to a mutual dispute between two parties in the village and that effective and fair action is being taken by the police by registering charges against both the parties under serious sections.

Dainik Bhaskar reported that controversy started over erasing a name from a gate of the village. There is a temple built in Ladpura village of Darsal Kasna police station area. There is some vacant land lying near it. This land is said to belong to LMC and some people of the Lakhpat family of the village itself.

A few days ago, the people of the village decided to build a temple on the vacant land and demanded the Lakhpat family hand over the vacant land for the construction of the temple. It is being told that during this time the Lakhpat family refused to give the land due to which there was anger among the villagers. Following this, some youths smeared ink on the name Lakhpat written on the gate outside the village, which was built in 2007 by the Lakhpat family members. This led to a scuffle between the two sides. BJP District Vice President Rahul Pandit was also assaulted in this issue, reported Dainik Bhaskar.

Conclusion

It is found that the BJP leader Rahul Pandit was assaulted in a scuffle between two sides over a land dispute for temple construction but is falsely linked to the Manipur issue.
