Haryana is currently under BJP rule under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. While the riots in the BJP-ruled state of Manipur have not yet ended, the riots between two sides during the procession held by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad on July 31 in Haryana’s Nuh have caused great fear among the public. The death toll in the riots has now risen to six.

In this case, a video of children and youths marching with weapons and Islamic flags claiming to be from Haryana’s Nuh/Mewat riots is being spread virally on social media by the right wing. Some of the posts can be seen here and here.
What is the truth?
After analysing the keyframes of the viral video through Google reverse image search, the entire video was found on the Facebook page of Shaikh Aptaj Bharatiya from West Bengal. One of his comments on this video mentioned that it is him who recorded the video.
This video was recorded on July 29 in an area called Dhuliyan in Murshidabad district of West Bengal. Multiple other videos from the same occasion can be viewed from his other posts.
And after examining the streets in the video through Google Maps, a statue that appears to be carrying a blue globe can be seen in the background of the viral video. At the end of our search, we came to know that this Biswa Bangla symbol has been erected in many parts of West Bengal.
So with a Google Maps search of the footage featured in the viral video, we were able to locate the actual location where the video was shot.
So when we compared the scenes in the viral video and the Harisabha Milon Mondir Road in Dhuliyan, West Bengal on Google Maps, they matched perfectly. Through this, it was confirmed that the area where this video was taken is West Bengal.
