The claim which is circulating on social media (Twitter, Facebook) mentioning the phrase as Jantar Mantar became an orphan as the wrestlers have called off from their protest is viral. Some of the posts with such a claim can be seen here, here and here.

What is the truth?
The two images posted on social media claim that wrestlers had abandoned the protest and Jantar Mantar has deserted.
By carrying out a reverse image search in Google, it shows the links of several articles relating to the same image in The Indian Express, The Hindustan Times on April 28 and 29, 2023 respectively.
Considering The Indian Express article where the headlines above the image depicts as “He sat for 2-4 minutes with the players : Bajrang Punia refutes Anurag Thakur’s claim that he spent 12 hours with wrestlers which were published on April 28, 2023.
Wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Sangeeta Phogat claimed that the photos and rumours are false and they will fight till they get justice said Punia. Adding to Punia,phogat said that “Where will the girls change their clothes? Certainly not on the road. the washroom here doesn’t even have water. where will they freshen up?”
Wrestler Satyavrat Kadian, Husband of Sakshee Malikkh and manager of the protest refused the above claim and explaining about the image that he said,” We protesters fold our blankets pack and put them in our vehicle every morning, and another image as a team organizing the crowd”.
And several people gathering the site protesting and yelling slogans along with wrestlers and a candlelight march was organized by wrestlers on May 7, 2023.
Several farmers union, and farmers from various parts including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh reached the Jantar Mantar to lend their support, But they were stopped and escorted. And the farmers breakthrough the Delhi police barricades and joined the wrestlers’ protest and gave May 21 as the deadline for the government to take action against Bhrij Bhushan Saran Singh.
Conclusion
Therefore from the above-mentioned details it is found that the image which was circulated on social media was falsely claimed and still wrestlers are continuing their protest in the Jantar Mantar and they didn’t call off their protest.
