Explanation

In the three-minute and ten-second footage, a gas delivery guy can be seen passing through a gate. He waits after pressing the house’s calling bell. We could see that he was uneasy as he awaited, held the cylinder down, and then collapsed to the ground. In the meantime, we observe a woman coming out of the house and attempting to shake the man to get him to wake up. Then, she can be seen constantly pounding his chest while performing CPR on him. The man then appears to be slowly waking up, attempting to sit upright, and leaning on an adjacent house pillar. After that, the woman gives him some water to drink, and that is where the video ends.

What’s the truth?

We began our study by looking up pertinent keywords and the viral video’s keyframes. This directed us to a Facebook video that the Pichodu.com page had uploaded. On June 12, 2024, the same widely shared video was uploaded with the caption “Brave woman saved the gas boy.”

A disclaimer is also included after the description stating, “Please be aware that this channel features scripted dramas and parodies to Aware People in Different Situations. This Channel Brings Social Awareness Videos. These short films are for entertainment purposes only!” Additionally, they have added hashtags that promote social awareness.

Additionally, the channel’s website description states that it produces social awareness videos solely for entertainment value.

Moreover, when we watched the viral video till the end we noticed that it had a disclaimer saying, “This reel life video footage was published only to educate the public by making them understand how the real world situations will be. and picturized to educate the public. Characters in this video are for entertainment and educational purposes. Note – We do not intend to defame anyone or any brand”

Also, when we searched through the page we found more such scripted videos with disclaimers at the end.

All of this data demonstrates that the video purportedly going viral of the woman rescuing a gas delivery man is, in fact, a staged performance.

Conclusion:

Therefore, we conclude that the widely shared video, which purports to show a courageous woman performing CPR on an unknown gas delivery man, is a carefully orchestrated farce.
